Our Partnerships

The partnership is made up of Waveney Economic Partnership, 1st East, Waveney Prospectus, Waveney Learning Community, the Sub-Regional Group and the Sub-Regional Housing Partnership.

Our Priority Actions

We will increase and sustain entrepreneurial culture and small business activity, particularly within under performing areas and amongst other disadvantaged groups.

We will enhance the growth and productivity of key sectors.

We will work to improve the skills and education levels of the local population in line with local business needs.

We will work to increase basic numeracy and literacy skills.

We will ensure adequate investment in an integrated infrastructure across the district and the sub-region, to support the development of the economy.

We will develop a joint local higher education provision between Lowestoft and Great Yarmouth as part of University Campus Suffolk (UCS).

We will encourage the development of community social enterprises to support a fairer society.
