LM read his draft letter from WRA to ODPM (Go East) and asked for any suggestions.
SRP summarised main points from two supplementary reports submitted by Haylink, which confirmed their traffic assessments were robust, that environmental impacts would be negligible and that our perceptions of those impacts were coloured by the fact that we were opposed to the scheme!
It was suggested that A. Glading’s email re Saturday’s road traffic accident on The Strand be sent to all Development Committee members.
Appointment of Treasurer: LM reported that WRA now has a Barclays Bank Business Account, with donations totalling £175.00 so far. Roy Simpson agreed to act as Treasurer – his appointment was proposed by J. Mayer, seconded by S. Pendorf.
