Yoxford Oxfayre 2008: Saturday 30th August. It's getting closer. For those that are new to the village the Oxfayre was started about 20 years ago as a means of raising funds for worthwhile causes in Yoxford. Over the years the committee has given sums to the school, clubs, individuals, groups and other charities that need help, as well as holding free events at Easter, the November fireworks and Christmas children's party. So do join us and tell your neighbours and friends. What we need are cakes for the tea bar and prizes suitable for tombola and draw (you can leave them at Snips hairdressers or with other committee members) - and, of course, we need your help on the day!
