£50.00. To be paid in advance and refundable on the satisfactory return of the Party Tent.

Collection

There is no delivery service. Collection and return of the Party Tent(s) is the responsibility of the hirer. Collection is the day prior to event, return is the day after the event unless otherwise agreed by the owner.

Terms & Conditions

1) Collection & Inspection

There is no delivery service. Collection and return of the Party Tent(s) is the responsibility of the hirer. Collection of the tent(s) will be the day prior to the hire date and must be returned on the day immediately after the event unless otherwise agreed by the owner. The hirer agrees to inspect the tent within one hour of erection and to notify the owner immediate of any defect or objection. The tent should be inspected periodically to ensure good condition and if the hirer discovers any problem will immediately contact the owner. The hirer agrees to allow the owner a period not exceeding 14 days, to inspect the tent(s) on their return. Any damage found during this inspection will be brought to the attention of the hirer. The hirers deposit will be returned on completion of the owners inspection subject to no damage being found.

2) Erection of Tent

The hirer will ensure that the site is reasonably flat, firm, of the correct area without overhead obstruction and grassed. That no cables, drains, wires, pipes or other services will be affected by the installation of the fixing pins.

3) Deposit & Cancellation

The hirer shall pay the deposit agreed. Failure to do so immediately will result in the booking being cancelled. The hirer will pay the balance on collection of the tent(s). Cancellation of the booking within 7 days of the date of hire will result in a loss of the deposit paid.

4) Use of Tent(s)

The hirer will not use the equipment for any purpose for which the tent(s) is not expressly designed. The hirer will not allow the tent to be rehired or for any illegal use nor alter the tent in any way without the permission of the owner. Under no circumstances will the hirer attach to the walls or roof any item which requires puncturing, affixing or gluing of walls, beams or roof. In particular the hirer shall not sellotape/ sticky-tape attachments to the tent whites. Nor will the hirer apply any paint or coating to any part of the structure. Nor any other act of defacement of the tent. The hirer will ensure that dogs and other pets are prevented from soiling any part of the tent. The hirer will not permit any person or weight to hang from, or weight bear on any part of the tent.

5) Duties of the Hirer – The hirer shall:

5.1 Not allow the tent to be removed from the site without the express permission of the owner

5.2 Bear the cost of repair or cleaning suffered as a result of any activity conducted by the hirer

5.3 Not sell or dispose of any part of the tent

6) Insurance & Liability

The hirer shall be responsible for, and indemnify the owner against, any loss or damage whatsoever the cause. Any damage caused by the hirer during the hire period will be the responsibility of the hirer, the period of hire including the collection and return of the tent. The cost of any repairs as a result of damage during the hire period will be the sole responsibility of the hirer.
