Helpmates Limited, a
company asking for your unwanted goods to be donated to the Third
World, has been leafleting households in this area.
You are advised not to give goods to this
company.
Helpmates Limited is not a registered
charity, and it is likely that they make huge profits by selling on
your unwanted goods at inflated prices both here and abroad. There
is considerable evidence to suggest that they are part of a
bogus charity scam effectively stealing from kind-hearted members
of the public.
Neighbourhood Watch and the Police have been informed.
