At our meetings we listen to talks on topics given by invited
speakers as well as members. Last season’s talks included ‘The
Great War: Letter from the Front' by Roy Colchester, ‘Anglo Saxon
Cemetries of Lakenheath’ by Jo Caruth, ‘The Windmills of
Stanton’ by Dominic Grixti, ‘Lost country Houses of Suffolk’ by
Jillian Chibnall, ‘Boudica and the Iceni Rebellion’ by Nick Sign,
‘Five Vulcans to New Zealand’ by Bryn Lewis, plus our ever popular
Christmas Quiz run by Bryn Lewis.
Additionally, we have a summer outing with this year’s
being a trip to Thetford to discover more about Duleep Singh, the
last Maharajah of the Punjab.

Our season runs from September to April and we meet on the last
Tuesday of the month (except December) at the Church Rooms,
