Barham Sorrel
Horse
At the Sorrel Horse
we can cater for many
types of function, whether it be a small group for drinks or a
large party. We can seat approximately 45 in our restaurant
area, but we have over 100 seats in the pub which can also be
used for eating. We can offer buffets or hot meals for parties
and we also have a small marquee for use throughout the warmer
months. The marquee can seat approximately 50 and is ideal for
a christening or birthday party. Also available is a large
garden where a larger marquee can be erected and used for
bigger parties like weddings etc.. We will gladly supply a bar
free of charge at a marquee on the premises. We will also
provide outside bars free of charge (subject to minimum number
of guests).
Please telephone or email
Matthew Smith or Breda Smith for further
details.

Claydon Crown
This very attractive olde worlde pub is situated in Claydon
village on the edge of Ipswich. With a traditional interior The
Crown has retained its oak beams to create a warm and cosy
atmosphere. Our restaurant, which is suitable for up to 80 people,
is particularly popular at the weekends with customers drawn from
long distances just to dine here. The Hungry Horse food is the
special attraction of this pub. Food is served by helpful and
friendly staff from this extensive menu with something to appeal to
everyone of all ages. We do not believe in small portions so large
quantities of delicious food is the order of the day. Because the
bar and restaurant are on different levels this gives some privacy
to our customers. On summer days our beer garden is a lovely
retreat with a quality pint. Bring friends and family to this pub
soon and sample the best of British in comfortable surroundings.
Paul will ensure you will not be disappointed by the Hungry Horse
experience!
