'We must be as courteous to a man
as we are to a picture, which we are willing to give the advantage
of a good light.'
Hospitality & Grow is
comprised of 5 main businesses in the leisure and entertainment
industry, utilising two separate gaming and arcades, two bars, one
of which has recently been refurbished to an exceptionally high
standard.
Within the leisure industry,
Hospitality & Grow services a wide range of entertainment. In
aggregate, the combined businesses serve over 6 million people per
annum, which are attracted by the diverse entertainments on
offer.
Hospitality & Grow's growth
strategy is largely based upon consolidating its current brand
loyalty, by both residents and from new and returning holidaymakers
to the area. In addition, it is dedicated to increasing the
services it offers and, through opening a further "special needs"
hotel keeping its customers ‘in-house’, targeting a sales growth
through diversification of its business of between circa 14% and
50% per annum over the ensuing 3 years.
Hospitality &
Grow
runs a series of training courses and event programs of culinary
attractions and seminars focusing on design, technology, and how to
grow your business in a recession.
Delivering accredited NOCN training
in a wide range of services attending learners benefit from the
broad spread of opportunities.

4 A great place to work
Reinvesting in our local communities...
Hospitality & Grow recognise that
many tourists visit and gain great pleasure
from amusement arcades. However, off season we recognise
that local people can become addicted and often gambling can
be a source of fuel for social and urban decline. As a social
enterprise we reinvest our profits back into the community two
fold.
Firstly we work with
local social
enterprise
‘Count me Out’ to re-educate, inform and be pro active in
reducing gambling and substance misuse addiction.
Secondly we spend our income
on training local people disadvantaged in the labour market with
life skills, accredited training, work experience and employment.
This already includes ex offenders, long term unemployed, NEET, and
those with hidden disabilities.
Our Plans for 2009/10
We plan to renovate a disused 66
room hotel into a state of the art Hotel complex for people with
special needs. We will provide skills in the building and
construction trades - painting, decorating, tiling, plumbing,
electrical, artex, coving,
plast
ering, and CSCS cards.
Once renovated the hotel will be run
as a separate “Social enterprise Green Hotel”, providing
environmental benefits as well as training and job
opportunities.
