Welcome to North East
Division |

From its launch on 5th September 2009 to the
close at 20:10, 20.10, 2010 Girlguiding UK will be celebrating its
Centenary - thats 100 years of Girl Power! In September 1909 a
group of girls saw what the Boy Scouts had on offer to them at a
Camp at Crystal Palace. They stood up in front of Robert
Baden-Powell and asked him to do something similar just for the
girls. It didn't take long and in 1910 the Girl Guide
Association was founded. The rest is history as they say! We
plan to look back at our heritage and what we can be proud of as
well as looking forward to the future and what the girls of today
need from Guiding. Come and be part of an amazing and unique
worldwide movement.

North East Division covers all the Rainbow, Brownie, Guide and
Senior Section Units in the Districts of Beccles, Bungay,
Halesworth and Southwold.
With over 520 members in 2010 we are a youth organisation very much
in demand. So if you think its all toadstools, pixies,
green tents and campfires then you are in for a big surprise!
Guiding has moved into the 21st Centuary.
We all love fun, friendship & adventure (and camp
blankets!).... welcome to our website!
