What has Ann Boleyn, Charles Dickens, Charles Darwin, Fairies, Sir Samuel Morton Peto and the invention of the hovercraft all got in common?

…they all have links with Oulton Broad.

When Oulton Broad Enterprise was set up it’s aim was simple. To promote urban and rural regeneration of Oulton Broad, and its local community, environment and welfare through horticulture, heritage, community events and services.

When OBE asked Trevor Lynn to look at ways to raise money for the local areas regeneration, he wondered if the area had much heritage. A few months later he was startled to see how much he uncovered!

Trevor is now working on a heritage pack for local schools to save Oulton Broad’s “lost heritage”.
