Oulton Broad Community Enterprise was set up to promote urban
and rural regeneration of Oulton Broad and its local community,
environment and welfare through horticulture, heritage, community
events and services.
OBCE is made up of a partnership between, local residents,
voluntary and professional organisation’s and with advice from the
local authority they have formed a partnership for the benefit of
the local community.
OBCE is currently working on several projects to benefit its
community. These range from events including an annual carol
service, a yearly ghost cruise, and in 2007 the unveiling of Oulton
Broads first ever village sign.
Other events planned for the coming year include free tea dances
every weekend for our residents (including travel to and from our
special venue).
OBCE is also dedicated to the introduction of a heritage trail
through Oulton Broad and the Nicholas Everett Park. This project
will include interpretation boards throughout Oulton Broads,
explaining to both visitor and residents the areas rich history
appealing to both young and old alike. This website is designed to
give potential visitors a taste of our history and a inspire them
to visit Oulton Broad the Southern Gateway to Broads
