Welcome to the Lowestoft Branch of the
Royal Marines Association website |
'Once a Marine, always a
Marine'
The Lowestoft Branch of the Royal Marines Association holds
monthly meetings, on the first Wednesday of each month, at the
Royal Norfolk & Suffolk Yacht Club in Lowestoft. Meetings start
at 12 noon and usually take about an hour, after which many members
stay behind for a sandwich and coffee, etc.
In addition to our monthly meetings we also have various
fund-raising projects, and a varied social calendar.
As a charity, we raise money for widows and orphans of the Royal
Marines and Naval personnel, and for ex-Royal Marines who fall on
hard times.

Sarie Marais Arranged Sir Vivian
Dunn This march was adopted by the Royal Marines in 1953
as the offical march of the Royal Marines Commandos and is played
after the Regimental March on ceremonial occassions. This recording
is taken from the CD 'The King's Squad' by the Band of HM Royal
Marines Commando Training Centre and features the Adjudant giving
that famous order
"Royal Marines, to your duties... quick march"
