A road incident is shown on traffic listing as a traffic light. The colour indicates the severity of the incident.
RED - the
incident is serious and major delays should be
expected.
AMBER - the
incident is minor or improving. There may be minor
delays.
GREEN -
normally used after an incident has been
cleared.
Normally incidents will be changed from Red to Amber to Green as
the emergency services deal wth the problem.
Road incidents are updated by Suffolk Constabulary's Control Room
staff.
The police control room also issue Advisory bulletins to warn road users of particualr risks or to remind them how to travel
safely. These appear as exclamation marks in the list and are coloured blue.
