Webchat
Phil Hope MP will host his first Ministerial
Dignity Webchat at 11am on 20 January.
Details of how to join the webchat will be

Bolton Council has joined forces with other care
organisations to launch an action plan that
will promote Dignity in Care for older people
in the borough.

National Dignity Champions Conference on 25
November 2008 to interview three inspiring women who have
championed dignity and respect for older people and

Dignity
Champions can help develop measures of quality care
for NHS
Local NHS organisations are being encouraged to
engage with staff to help develop a
framework for a new generation of indicators
that will measure quality at local, organisational,
regional and national levels. The results of
regional and online engagement will be used
to develop a range of indicators to be
introduced from 2009.

Safeguarding Adults:
A Consultation on the Review of the 'No
Secrets' Guidance The
Department of Health, the Home Office and the Ministry of
Justice have launched the national consultation on
the review of the No Secrets guidance.
The consultation closes on 31 January
2009.

launched by The King's Fund. Alongside this,
