Norfolk & Waveney Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust provides a range of specialist mental health services to nearly 800,000 people from all age ranges across Norfolk and the Waveney area of Suffolk. We also provide medium secure services to the whole of Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire.

Many of our services, especially in-patient services, are centred around the city of Norwich and the coastal towns of Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft. However, our staff also provide a range of services in a variety of settings and community locations throughout the catchment area. This reflects the complexity of the services we provide and the urban and rural nature of the locality.

We work in partnership with other statutory and non-statutory bodies that provide services to people suffering mental ill health, and as a partnership Trust we also provide integrated health and social care services.

At any one time 14,000 people are receiving care and attention from the Trust.
