Welcome to the Felixstowe and District Safer
Neighbourhood Team website.
In Suffolk, Safer Neighbourhood Teams are made up of Police
Officers, Police Community Support Officers, Specials and Police
Support Volunteers.
We work alongside staff from other organisations, including
district and borough councils to provide an even better service to
local people across the county.
Our Team has a remit to solve problems indentified by local people
from your area - which could range from crime and anti-social
behaviour to noise and litter.
Remember, we are here to help you, so please get in touch with us
if you need our assistance. Our team covers the
wards of Felixstowe, 'The Trimleys', Nacton and
Kirton.

reflect local concerns and are in keeping with the Policing
Pledge. It gives all forces the same set of guidelines which help
ensure that local people receive a quality policing service,

The next neighbourhood policing meeting
We hold regular tasking
meetings, which are attended by the police, county, district and
parish councillors, as well as our partners from health and
education organisations.
The aim is to:
- Discuss issues put forward by the community panel meeting.
- Select the top three priorities to be addressed and how we are
going to tackle them.
- Arrange feedback to local people about progress
Prior to the Tasking meeting we hold a Community
Panel meeting to discuss the issues to put forward to the
Tasking group. These meetings are open to the
public, for more details regarding this please click on the

- Community Panel Meeting, so if you
would like to come along and raise any issues with us, the next
one for your area is on 16th February 2010. It
starts at 6:00 pm and finishes at about 7.30 pm and will take
place at: Kirton and Falkenham Recreation Ground
