Welcome to the Mid Suffolk Central Safer
Neighbourhood Team. In Suffolk, Safer Neighbourhood Teams are
made up of Police Officers, Police Community Support Officers,
Specials and Police Support Volunteers.
We work alongside staff from other organisations, including
district and borough councils to provide an even better service to
local people across the county.
Our team has a remit to solve problems identified by local people
from your area - which could range from crime and Anti-Social
behaviour to noise and litter.
Remember, we are here to help you, so please get in touch with us
if you need our assistance. Mid Suffolk Central team covers
Bacton, Badwell Ash, Helmingham, Coddenham, Debenham,
Mendlesham, Old Newton, The Stonhams and Wetheringsett
wards.
Our Team Priorities
(what you've told us we
need to concentrate our efforts on)
1. Speeding in three locations -
Ashbocking, The Street IP6 9HG - Pettaugh, Ipswich Road.
IP14 6BH and Forward Green. A1120 IP14 5HP.
Speed Checks and Speed Indicator Devices (SID) to be

2. To resolve Anti Social Behaviour at play area
atWells Way, Debenham IP14 6SL by working with residents and
partners to resolve issues over play equipment. This Priority

The above priorities reflect local

all forces the same set of guidelines which help ensure that local
people receive a quality policing service, wherever they live. To

The next Community Priority Setting Meeting
We hold regular Community Priority Setting
meetings, which are attended by the police, county, district and
parish councillors, as well as our partners from health and
educational organisations.
The aim is to:
- Discuss issues put forward by the local community.
- Discuss the top three priorities chosen by members of the
public and decide how these should be addressed and how we
are going to tackle them.
- Arrange feedback to local people about progress.
These meetings are open to the public, so if you
would like to come along and raise any issues with us,
the next Meeting for your area will be
held on Wednesday 29th September,
at:- Old School Room, Old Station Road, Mendlesham, Stowmarket,
IP14 5SA.
Meetings start at 7pm and finishes at 8pm. If
