Ipswich South West Team Homepage
Welcome to the Ipswich South West Safer Neighbourhood Team website.

In Suffolk, Safer Neighbourhood Teams are made up of Police Officers, Police Community Support Officers, Specials and Police Support Volunteers.

We work alongside staff from other organisations, including district and borough councils to provide an even better service to local people across the county.

Our team has a remit to solve problems identified by local people from your area – which could range from crime and anti-social behaviour to noise and litter.

Remember, we are here to help you, so please get in touch with us if you need our assistance. Our team covers the wards of Sprites, Stoke Park, Bridge and Gipping.

The next neighbourhood policing meeting

We hold regular area forum meetings which are attended by the police, county, district and parish councillors, as well as many of our partners.  These are also open to the public to attend and raise any issues they may have about the area to the relevant agency.

The aim is to:

  • Discuss issues put forward by the local community
  • Arrange feedback to local people about progress
  • Use the issues discussed at the forum to set the SNT priorities at the next Tasking meetings

The date for the next South West Priority Setting Meeting will be held on -

Tuesday 16th March 2010 at Greenfinch Church, Greenfinch Avenue, Ipswich between 6.15pm - 7pm.

If you can't make this meeting and would like to get in touch about something which concerns you -
