Following a review of the Safer Neighbourhood Teams

following parishes in Wickham Market have been merged to
create the Woodbridge and District SNT: Otley, Clopton,
Burgh, Hasketon, Boulge, Bredfield, Dallinghoo, Wickham Market and
Debach- formerly in Wickham Market Rural
The new site is in the process of being updated to reflect the

"HORSEWATCH"
Horse and pony owners in the Wilford Peninsula area
are being urged to join a new ‘Horse Watch’ scheme which is being
set up to help prevent thefts of animals and equipment.
Following recent concerns in the community about
horse thefts police are working with a number of groups and owners
to establish the scheme, which will cover all parishes on the
Wilford Peninsula.
Although many of the rumours, such as the theft of
six horses from Wickham Market, were untrue, police recognised that
the issue had caused concern and have supported individuals in the
setting up of ‘Horse Watch’ schemes where interest has been
shown.
Sign up to Horse Watch and you will get information
from police including alerts when there have been thefts in the
area or sightings of suspicious vehicles, and crime reduction
advice to help you protect your property.Horse Watch aims to form a
community of like-minded individuals who can work together to
prevent crime and play a role in helping catch offenders.
If you would like to find out more or sign up for
the scheme please email Pc Andy Warne at
