Important change regarding your Safer Neighbourhood Team website

Following a review of the Safer Neighbourhood Teams (SNT) in Suffolk, the number of teams has been reduced from 47 to 30. Woodbridge/Melton, Wilford Peninsula, and the following parishes in Wickham Market have been merged to create the Woodbridge and District SNT: Otley, Clopton, Burgh, Hasketon, Boulge, Bredfield, Dallinghoo, Wickham Market and Debach- formerly in Wickham Market Rural

The new site is in the process of being updated to reflect the changes. Go to the Woodbridge and District SNT website.

Do you reside in an area that is not covered by a Neighbourhood Watch scheme?

Don't Park There!!

One of the most common complaints we've been receiving relates to parking. Vehicles have often been parked illegally on either single or double yellow lines, on the pavements or generally causing an unnecessary obstruction. It is illegal and inconsiderate.

The greatest number parked causing an obstruction have blue badges displayed. As detailed in ‘The Blue Badge Scheme’ booklet section 12 ‘you should not park where you may cause an obstruction or hazard to other road users’. If you do have to park on the highway and you are a blue badge holder please be considerate about where you park. Think of others, otherwise you may be liable to a £30.00 fixed penalty notice.

We will be enforce the regulations over the coming weeks and Fixed Penalty Notices will be issued.
