Newsletters

This is the first newsletter to be published by Suffolk’s Safeguarding Children Board. It aims to provide reliable information about the work of the board, and about safeguarding issues.

Our main objective is to provide information for practitioners and managers in all the agencies and organisations that are represented on Suffolk Safeguarding Children Board…that means everyone in Suffolk whose work brings them into contact with children.

Child Protection Conference Feb 2007

A Child Protection Conference is a meeting arranged by Children and Young People’s Service when there is concern that a child is suffering from or likely to suffer harm.

The Child Protection Conference (CPC) brings together parents/ carers and the professionals who work with the child and their families. The aim of the Conference is to enable those professionals most involved with your child and your family to assess the information about the concerns and make a plan of how best to safeguard and promote the child’s welfare.
