Parish council

There are currently three vacancies on the parish council.   If anyone is interested in becoming a parish councillor please contact either the parish clerk or chairman, or come along to one of our meetings.

We are also looking for a new parish clerk.  For further information please contact the clerk or chairman.

The Parish Council owns Sotterley Chapel (which has been restored by the Sotterley Chapel Preservation Trust) and the Chapel Cemetery.

We have a licence to manage and use Shadingfield Playing Field.

We own the bus shelter on London Road.

We are consulted by Waveney District Council and Suffolk County Council (and other organisations) on a range of issues affecting the four parishes.

If residents raised an issue with us we pursue it with whatever organisation is responsible.
