Interim Director - Young Suffolk   


This established charity that provides infrastructure support for over 200 voluntary children and young people’s organisations across the county is seeking an Interim Director to support its diverse and exciting programme.

This new appointment will have the key purpose of carrying out a financial and structural review of Young Suffolk as well as leading Young Suffolk’s small team of staff to provide support services for its wide range of member organisations.

The appointment will be full-time and will be paid £36,259 pa plus a 5% non-contributory pension. However, we will consider possible secondments from suitable partner organisations.

Parent Support Volunteers needed in North Suffolk

 

Volunteers are needed for the Parent Support Volunteers Programme in North Suffolk

Parent Support Volunteers work with and support families with children and young people aged 5-19 living in their local area, visit families with children to give them support and information on local services, offer confidential, befriending, parent-to-parent support which helps isolated families to meet others, support parents and children in getting involved in local activities, and are there to listen to families.

New Safeguarding Children Number in Suffolk


 

From 5th January 2011 the Customer First number remains  0808 800 4005

It becomes the Emergency Duty Number between 5.20pm and 8.45am on weekdays.

Weekend cover is from 4.25pm on Friday until 8.45am on Monday.
