Why you should be a Young Suffolk Member!

What do we do?



Young Suffolk helps to support and develop its member organisations by providing:

  • Access to funding advice and opportunities
  • Representation at area and district based meetings across Suffolk with easily available feedback via our website
  • Training opportunities (many of which are free and if not we can often help towards travel and childcare costs)
  • Professional guidance for all aspects of youth clubs and organisations
  • Help in setting up new youth ventures
  • Advice to members of new legislation and changes which may affect them.
  • Events which members are welcome to attend to showcase their own organisation, skills and talents. Also conferences and seminars throughout the year and an AGM.
  • Networking and consultation opportunities including the Young Suffolk Forum.
  • Partnership working including sharing of information and resources.
  • Help and support in ensuring children and young people participate in decision making within member organisations.

Annual Subscription

For only £25 a year organisations working in Suffolk with children and young people can join Young Suffolk and add its own distinct ‘weave’ to the rich tapestry of talents and skills that make up our significant and influential membership of over 150 organisations (Go into the members section to view).
